About Rimal Sandhu BSc, MCP, RCC, CVRP
Rimal has a Masters in Counselling Psychology from the Adler University. She is a registered clinical counsellor (RCC) in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and a certified vocational rehabilitation professional (CVRP) in good standing with the College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals. Her work with non-profit and government funded agencies, in the private, and in outreach and office-based environments has allowed her to help people from all walks of life, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. Rimal has extensive experience working with individuals of all adult ages and diverse backgrounds.

Known for her flexible, collaborative, non-judgemental, warm, and empathic approach, and with over 18 years of varied training and experience, Rimal often tailors a therapeutic approach that best fits her client's needs often drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. In her practice, Rimal
focuses on providing counselling support and treatment services to individuals presenting with (but not limited to)
trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, pain and injury, interpersonal difficulties, life transition, work/career
dissatisfaction, stress, and anger.

Rimal provides counselling services in English and Panjabi. She strongly believes that change, although difficult, is
possible with the right tools, effective intension-setting and appropriate guidance. Rimal takes pride in providing
psych-educational, brief, and/or solution focussed therapy as well as longer term processing and exploratory
therapy. She provides telehealth/virtual services to residents across British Columbia, Canada.
